Is Business Process Management (BPM) Ready for Ambidexterity? Conceptualization, Implementation Guidelines and Research Agenda

Business Process Management ambidexterity is a nascent concept providing philosophy and framework for organizations to radically innovate their business processes, while maintaining capabilities in process efficiency operational excellence. Considering the novelty of this topic, there not yet an agreed conceptualization term, nor consolidated view on related implementation guidelines. We aim address research gap through Systematic Literature Review, where we provide dual that focuses (1) equilibrium balance between explorative exploitative as well (2) organizational capability support exploration exploitation. Based conceptualization, guidelines practitioners, including decision steps, followed by agenda order let promising domain further advance.
